KATNOOK ESTATE – FOOD & WINE MAGAZINE READERS’ EVENING
The monthly Food & Wine Magazine’s ‘Readers’ Evenings’ have been proven to be exceedingly popular, where food-loving consumers enjoy nights out once a month in Ireland’s most popular and acclaimed restaurants with one-off special menus and wine pairings the main attraction.
November’s event took place in Locks Brasserie in Portobello, Dublin, and the excellent Katnook Estate from Australia were the featured wines for the evening. Pico Communication managed the organisation of the event from initial approach to review, and in doing so exposed Katnook Estate to over 10,000 food- and wine-loving consumers in Ireland, a market they would not otherwise have reached through traditional means.
This was managed by Pico Communication via a package including of a full-page advert in the magazine, a feature in all Food & Wine Magazine communications on the event in both print and social media, and a feature in the post-event review of the evening in the following month’s issue. To add spice we Tweeted live from the event, reaching over 3,000 followers through re-tweeting and replies.
